With the weather looking OK am looking at a run outside tommorrow morning returning before the wind climbs at lunch. Have been getting my 5 snapper without to many problems out there of late and with any luck there will be some tuna or macks around for a bit of fun. Heard reports of Wahoo further north at the cape so maybe even one or two of them might be on the chew. Will be leaving from Wello and looking for a deckie of anyone is interested.

Bowser,
If you live around Marsden and are prepared to pick me up, I'd love to come with you - as I said in my original post, I cant travel as my wife needs the car to get to work ( only 1 vehicle in this family).

Unfortunately the trip is off as I am stuck without a vehicle tomorrow but looking to reschedule for Wednesday or Thursday.

Thanks Bowser,
Think I'll pass this time - catching a train at 3.00am isn't exactly safe in my neck of the woods, I'd have to catch 2 trains 1 to Park Road and then from Park Road to Wellington Point. I appreciate the offer though. I presume you'd be leaving from Wello about 4:30-5.00am

Looking at the forcast for Thursday, probably not. The winds won't be strong but the will die down as the day gets older so will probably be a little mor gentlemans hours then that. I didn't get to the 35's last Tuesday til after 12 and caught my bag limit by 2 and came home. Fortunately as the winds that wer forcast did spring up about then. But will look to be out earlier then that. Will be looking at seabreeze tomorrow to narrow doen the time.
