Looking at the forecast for a trip a little wider. #See how the forecast unfolds! Any other Ausfishers wanting to join the trip?? More boats the better leaving from yorkeys!

Be paitent Shane, have a look a little further forward and take a look at the weather for the 21st and 22nd of this month. I'll be heading to the shelf on Friday nite. Remember once you get outside of the reef you have to contend with the ocean swells.

Nobody, but if you say your going wide than you would have to be going close. Bouyweather still has the swells at 8feet (2mtrs) at 8second intervals. Not the most pleasent conditions for fishing in out wide. If you wait a few days for the swell to drop out, as it will with light winds all this week, sea conditions wil be great by Thursday. But hey, I only grew up in these parts and been fishing off here for 30years, so what would I know.

Hey Bazzaman how far are you going? I was thinking of running the tinny out for a fish close monday but would head further on a tag-along.

If you want let me know what your plans are, the old girl hasn't had a run in 6 months so I have some tire kicking to do first.

Ron i never said you were right or wrong, you have made assumptions only. I just said im goin wide not inshore! Sorry mate if youve confused yourself. Im sure the conditions will be better next week with the winds only 5/10 knots. Im also pretty sure you would know what the conditions would be like also. I never said you didnt. Sorry for the mix up!

Don't forget your cameras lads! I'll look forward to some Cairns reports! The weather looks too nice for me to fish a Sunday (too busy at the ramps), I'll be doing a couple of early to mid week trips instead
