g'day
have been saving up for this one for a while and the time has finally come. myself and a couple of mates are leaving next week and fishing our way up and down the coast, can't wait. anyone got any special spots or holes along the way they might want to share? never know might bump into someone along the way. will have a giant report when we get back (if we catch fish) and plenty of photos.

Have a blast Mick! Sounds like you'll be up north during the wet. Take plenty of bright coloured lures for barra, and don't look past any areas of flooding. Specialy in the horror stretch (Rockhampton to Sarina), the flats around leathe Brook (just south of prossy) and the Haughton and Barrata area just south of Townsville.
The Herbert and Burdekin Rivers will have plenty of barra if they are not flowing out of control when you pass through.

REMEMBER - Barra season closure dates.

Good Luck!
