G'day all.
Here's a pic of a perla 130cm/45 lb barra the old man caught from the Mary River (NT) March this year.

Yeh Nice fish hey!
I'm keem as to catch one over the metre mark or even better the elusive 120cm mark.
My biggest to date is 91cm about 20something pound I've got less than three weeks o gio untill I get to have another crack at them i'm going to Hinchinbrook Is on the 13th of Sept ..........cant wait ;D

Casting arm is getting itchy... a couple of photos from last year are on this same page down the bottom, look under "double".

:o that's a BLOODY BIG BARRA slates!!!

congrats has to go out to the lucky angler. but i must say, if you want REALLY quality fish, you've gotta come to Tinarroo, just out of Cairns. They have absolute horses in there. i saw a report from the DPI not too long ago, that they had found a barra or two in there that went 100pounds!! (found when surveying with their electrolysis boat)
