Went out on Melville Bay last night and nearly got blown away thanks to the low in the gulf. :P :P :P Had about 1 1/2 hrs of good weather. Good night fishing though. Caught the smallest fish (20lb) on some squid using my barra gear, Calcutta 400 and 20lb braid. Good fun. ;D ;D It then went very quiet until Cindy landed a small shark. I'd heard a rumour that Jewies like shark ??? so whacked off a fillet and within minutes had the next one in (27lb.) Lost the next one, snapped my hand line, then back to squid and landed the 35lb fish. ;D ;D My blue dog wanted a feed as well.
