this story is unbelievable. my bro fishing on his own dropped a handline 30lb with a 5/0 hook and lump of flesh. The hand line took off at a great rate of knots. he quickly reeled in the livie, threw the anchor bouy over and followed the fish. After a while and no retrieve he decided to cut the livie off, up the speed of the boat, cut the handline and join it to his overhead. An hour an a half later and 6klms saw this cobia beside the boat. He said he was exhuasted and with the gaff gave a mighty heave and yelled at the top of his lungs to get the fish into the boat, he fell flat on his back with the fish on top off him. He said when he regained his composure he went back got his anchor and back to camp. 85lb gutted.
