Hi

The reason some banner ads were over the top of the drop downs was due to the fact they were done in Flash Animation. This made them appear on the front of the page.

I hadn't noticed it before as I supose I am so use to navigating around the site.
Anyway, I have removed all the flash animated banners and replaced them with standard banners.

If you go to http://google.com.au there should be a link at the bottom of the page to "get the google toolbar" click on this and the toolbar will be installed on your computer. It has a popup (most annoying advertising) blocker in it that will stop them arriving on your computer. You may sometimes need to allow popups on some sites so all you do is click on the popup blocker and it will automatically allow them for that site only. There are also options to tailor it a bit more but I'm sure you'll work those out by poking around with it.

No problem Jimbamb

The Google toolbar nonibbles is referring too is great for stopping those annoying popups that appear when you go to certian websites on the net that open up (Popup) new page/s over the top of the page you are viewing.

Or use the latest version of netscape, it has pop up blocker built in, and no spy software.

Michael,

Go to http://www.google.com/about.html and you will see a link on the left hand side of the page for the Google Toolbar.
