Howdy guys
I'm thinking of looking at this boat advertised as a 16ft Shark Cat
Going through the pics it has Noosacat stickers on the side and appears to be centre console with a windscreen, I've done a lot of searching and can't find anything like it
Can anyone give a positive ID on this boat?
Any help appreciated, Thanks

looks old school , more likely a sharkcat than a noosa cat...

Thanks catshark, did they make a 16 footer?

cant say exactly but from what ive read i think so, the interesting features are the curved engine wells in the back, the flat sponsons and the clinkers on the inside of the hulls look old school but someone on here will give a more definite answer based on their experience.

Thanks again for that
The other odd thing is the centre console setup, I've never seen a middle console with a dashboad in front of it
Pity it's so far away from me or I'd go have a look, I'm happy to travel if it all checks out but it's an eight hour drive

They did make a 16' Sharkcat decades ago, had flat bottoms like that, and the really old ones had the curved motor wells, the front doesn't look quite right, but everything else does, must have had extensive work, hopefully all done right, probably be an OK boat.

It was a 16' Sharkcat, I'd run away due to the mods.

I tend to agree.

It's hard to tell, but is it actually a centre console set away from the dash. looks like it could even be a flat panel in line with the original dash. either way, it's weird, and ugly!

Thanks guys
I might steer clear then, If it was closer I'd go have a look but it's probably not worth an eight hour drive

You could ask them to send you a photo of the build plate or forward the link to Wayne at Noosa Cat for clarification.

That one was way before Noosacat days, it was from the very beginning of Sharkcat days
