View Full Version : Brown stain prevention

Warm weather is back and so are the requests from the kids to go to the dam knee boarding wake boarding and the like.
Problem is I’ve only just cleaned off the brown stain line from last summer.

Drifter rips it off in no time flat which is great but not so great for my trailer.

Is there anything that I can do to prevent the brown stain from taking hold in the first place? Or a less aggressive way to remove the stain? Normal washing products might lighten it half a shade but that’s about it.

Any ideas? I’m not a huge fan of my seafarer looking like it’s soiled itself.

Cheers

Marchy

Stop scaring the kids :P.

All I can suggest is a good coat of wax before you go mate.

Acetone on a cloth, then a good polish when done.

Once polished which is the hard work, follow with a cost of wax, it really is rub on rob off but makes a hell of a difference, even stops roller marks, wax the boat every 6 months.

A washing machine, some skid remover, and a good washing powder mate lol i have noticed as my boat sat in the drive way for months the streaks from local boat ramps came out more and more as if someone just polished over them kind of pissed as it stands out like dogs balls now
