I wonder why we place these in "footy field" type of setting rather than a lineal array? You would think something akin to coffee rock exposure along a contour or a reef edge would promote more migratory habit. I'm sure there's plenty of science to do it how we do though.

Wow. Impressive stuff.
Although I wouldn't have thought Exmouth had a shortage of reef structures.

Maybe they have foresight and getting before shit happens ! ?
It's not all about reefs, it is more about Green zones and offsetting fishing pressure on limited access areas.
