Flat battery or bad connections on the battery or the solenoid or the engine block or the starter motor terminal.

Grab a multimeter from Jaycar these come inhandy for the car to, u can test your batteries as Fed mentioned and u can have someone try start it while u put the multi meter over the solenoid terminal and the block for earth to check how many volts your getting to the starter motor

Yep, sure sounds like a battery problem, but first off, see if you can turn the flywheel by hand (to make sure it's not seized) if OK, remove battery terminals and clean then, try again, still no good? grab your meter and measure voltage across battery, now have someone turn the key, voltage stable, or drops to low? do these simple tests first, don't "think" battery is good, or terminals "look" good, equipment needs to be tested and confirmed good, or you are going to get nowhere.
