I saw someone getting a nice GT there on a video. I live no where near there but want to go and thought it would be a good place to start. What type of fish you pick up around Man and Wife xpaladoshous?

If you head to the eastern end of Barren Island there is a smaller island which is called Child and on the eastern side of it when there on you can get Spanish and in a bit closer to the rocks I have picked up a couple of small GTs there

Pretty sure Egg is in the green zone
A handy app to have is Eye on the reef for North of Baffle Creek

Shows it has been a while since I fished there. I didn't realise it had been greened, sorry.

Thanks for the replies... I’ll definitely have a few casts around them looking for a GT. It’s a fish on my bucket list.

I was just looking up Barren Island and it says it’s a marine park?

But the video I was looking up on YouTube shows them fishing there in March 2018. I was wanting to chase GTs like these guys but doesn’t look like I can now. Maybe it’s not Barren? I blacked out his face as my intent isn’t to identify anyone but just want to know if in fact it is Barren and from the pic would this be outside the green zone maybe? Has this recently been added as a marine park? Does anyone know if you can get a Lowrance HDS gen 3 unit to show the green zones on the plotter?

Hi Nick the island itself is a national park only fishing around it is allowed with certain rules
Just download the Eye on the reef app and enable your location and then when you tap on your location it will tell you what you are allowed to do there

Yes Barren is in the marine park however it is able to be fished due to the zoning of it. Have fun.
