Dumb fuel filter question

Have I got this right in terms of fuel in and fuel out

No, you have two outlets.

Just to add, move either hose connecter/barb to an in pointing arrow, block off with plug you remove.

So if I move the connector on the right to the back should be ok

The arrows indicate which way the fuel goes, the "in" arrows indicate fuel in, the "out" arrows fuel out.
