Help needed Noosacat ID

Looking for help to identify age and model of this Noosa cat .
And any advice on the good and bad of this model.
Ive trawled thorough the web and the forums here , can't find anything that matches exactly.
Its 26 ft transom to tip of bowsprite
Aluminium pod looks original
Has no wave breaker , and flat bottom on hulls .
Looks like it weighs 50t !
Can feel some timber cross members under the deck
So- worried about rot , but what i an reach feels OK.
Any advice much appreciated.

Not too sure those pods are standard, but anything possible, don't recognise that one at all, might have been "rebuilt" at some time?

Yes thats been the issue
Cant find another pic with pods like that .
Maybe a rebuild because the transom was rotten ?

That’s certainly no Noosa Cat.
Its an early Sharkcat. Pre ‘85.

I was thinking from my research that it was a shark cat mould .
Didn't the Noosa cat people use the old moulds initially ?
Hard to believe anyone would go to the trouble of putting fake stickers on it .
Or am I being gullible ?
Regardless , as you say , its probably a lot older than I am being told .

I was kind of thinking it was a Sharkcat, but not positive enough to say, just looking at the backing plates used for the pods indicates home handyman to me, I think when Noosa took over Sharkcat, they changed the look quite a bit to modernise it, but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure thats an 80s Sharkcat and the pods are definately a custom rebuild. Also, someone has cut 2 dirty great rectangle access point in the floor. I'm under the impression they aren't water tight, because they should be. Is the a drain bung in the back for removing water that has enter the hulls?

Looking now of course you guys are right , the backing plates on the pods look DIY.
So armed with all this great feedback i went back to the agent , who went back to the owner .
Im told it was diesel and converted by previous owner .
Maybe it was 23 ft originally ?Does that put an age and model on it ?
Not sure why this info wasn't forthcoming sooner .
The deck hatches look well done but couldn't possibly be totally waterproof.
They give access to very tidy battery and oil reservoirs in each hull, and there is an auto bilge pump next to them in both hulls .
Its such a neat set up I presumed that was original too.
Didn't notice the drain holes on the side of the hull until i looked at the pics back home.
It doesn't seem to be a self draining deck , but I'm showing my ignorance here ,
Are they all self draining ? and if so where ?
i dont really know where all the water that hits the deck goes , or rainwater for that matter.
But it does look like there would almost always be some water in the bottom of each hull in general use .
Cant be a good thing.
Cant tell if someones done some clever mods to an old boat , or its just FUBAR.

The deck drain would have been where the transom has been cut in the middle, when it was new, the transom would have been straight across, don't think there would be any trouble with water draining straight out the back with the transom cut to floor level! water going in the hatches however wouldn't be such a big hit.

Must be a 23 ft 700 series shark cat , very DIY modified.
Cant explain the Noosa cat badging .
Just got to work out if its fixable
if it needs a new deck , stringers etc ,
and if the transom is going to falloff,
and if the electrics need to come back above sea level .
And what all that might cost .

Abysmal fail on pre purchase hull inspection.
corrosion problems where pod has been mounted and
glass issues with deck and hull , deck no longer self draining as I thought
etc . .....
