Rightly or wrongly I spray RP7 on my Hydraulic Disc Brakes on the trailer ( with bearing buddies) just prior to it taking a dip.

As part of my maintenance I thoroughly soak all brake and spring components with Lanox twice a year, before and after the season. Sure it takes a couple of kilometres to get the brakes back to full capacity, but fine after that. None of brakes or springs are galv, but the Lanox has really protected all the components for over a decade of regular salt water emersion
