Hi David,
I put 1100 hrs on my old yam hpdi using valvoline 2 stroke oil after i had trouble finding yamalube in fnq. A ex yam mechanic who used to race these engine used it and advised me to do the same. Sold that engine with 1400 hrs and running as well as the day i bought it. The valvoline can be picked up at BCF on sale every couple of months for $20 a 4L bottle. I used to buy 8 or 10 which got me through till they came on sale again.
