G'day gents,

Purchased an ex coastguard (still in survey) sharkcat a month or so back and have paired a couple of F300s to her, along with some minor helm relocation and flybridge removal.

The old 225s are gone along with all the old rigging, replaced with command link and fly by wire, teamed with 2 x HDS10s.

Also had Transoms redone for extra leg length. Solid job from Cyclone Boats in Cairns!!

Hoping to have her in the water in the next few weeks for a toy whilst I am on a 6 month project on Mornington Island in the Gulf [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

The 300's should zip it along.

Hopefully. Going to start out with 15p Silas 4 blades and see how it goes.

nice big rig, should be real comfortable, how does the landie pull? looks like the rear springs are up to the job. Question. when you lay the motors down flat like that on the crate, do you remove or not remove the gear oils etc?

Hi mate,

Remove engine oil, leave gear oil.

Landy towed ok but lots of rear sway with tri axle trailer.

Was just a bit slow.

Can't resist the Cat?

Did a 200km trek to get the boat over to the project and was amazed at the comfort of the cat in slight seas.

Seas were beam on and a few times (being used to a mono) I was waiting to fall into a crest but the cat sort of straddles it.

Definately happy.
