Hi all,

Wondering if anyone here would be willing to give my dad and I a boating lesson? We are still pretty new to boating and are becoming more and more familiar with our stern-drive Bowrider, however i have exhausted the lakes of Western Sydney and now want to take the boat to the Harbour. Only thing is, I've never been on the harbour before and would like some help from people who are familiar with the harbour, berthing locations where we can leave the boat for the day etc.

Happy to compensate a reasonable amount too.

Thanks all.

I can't help but this is great to be recognising your limits and reach out for help.

Thanks Pixie. Yep, just trying to put safety first, as the Harbour can get very busy and it would be much safer to have someone experience with us, who knows the area well, anchoring locations, berthing locations, tips and tricks, etc. :-) We have been practicing the basics at the Hawksbury River, Nepean River and Georges River. Next step = Harbour :-)
