Check this out. What i would have liked also was a comparison to etec gen 2 not friggin 20yr old two strokes. But assuming 4stroke similarity, these deisel engines look the goods

looks awesome. Matched to a longboat with a tall prop to make use of all that tourque it would be the goods for long distance exploration i reckon.
But 175kg dry - I dont know how they can claim lighter than petrol. And I would hope its made out of good enough alloy so that the shell can last as long as the engine.
