Looking at buying this boat

It is advertised as a 1996 model but I suspect it is more like 1986. It is a 525 Stacer Sea Ray half cab with a fibreglass deck. The hull is painted on the bottom outside of the hull. Could it be a 1996 model ? Cheers Winston.

If you think there may be that much variance I would be contacting Stacey and making inquiries about age identification

going by the pictures, i would definitely say it's a 90's era boat. don't think anything from the late 90's would have the old style transom and motor well. the styling of the top half looks old school as well!
If you can get the hull id number, the last 2 digits might/should indicate the year made!
