Hi guys. Just a general enquiry to satisfy my curiosity. The boat has an infloor 190l tank. The floor appears completely sealed without any obvious seams. I presume that if I ever have a problem then an appointment with a saw is required?

As I said, no problems now, just curious.

Thanks
Ron

That's correct Ronald. I replaced the floor in a 99 model last year and the tank was still in great shape so you shouldn't have an issue.

Hi Ron
Have the same rig as you (2200 + 150 Suzuki) would be interested in trading notes on your set up and performance.

Hi Ron, how you going?

i have a 555, and is currently in the shop, with the floor cut out, getting a new tank.

Cheers

Hopefully you are going to utilise the wasted space and get a bigger tank?

Yeah ron.
Sender leaking. Can't be repaired or band aided any more, so floor up and new tank in.

Yeah ozy,
instruction were to make a big as will fit.
Hopefully pick her up Tuesday or Wednesday.
Even an extra 20 or 30 L would be nice.

Quick update men.

Got thenboat back with new tank,
190l capacity by measurement.
Stopped and filled her up on the was home, and stopped at 185l.
a good result from a bad situation.

Note- new tank, still a pain in the ass to fill. I'm sure you all know what I mean.

Cheers
Rob

I think you missed your opportunity to fix that Rob. Could have gotten the tank made with the filler at the front and the hose could have gone to the gunnel. That way your filling from the high point.
Will be nice to have the extra capacity though.

The older 555s had a 180l tank in them. I think they changed around 06?
