Buying unregistered inflatable

Hi,

I'm looking at buying an inflatable boat (no trailer/no motor) that's currently unregistered. It was last registered about 7yrs ago.

Would a purchase be fine with just a written receipt which I could then freshly register in my name with RMS (planning on sticking a 10hp on it) or would I need to get the original 7yr old transfer paper from him (thinking not since it's unregistered?). It still has the boat registration numbers on the boat.

Would I need to get anything else from the seller or anything to get it registered in this case?

That's fine, just get the seller to state the Hull Identification number (HIN) on the receipt and your good to go
