Hi guys last weekend heading out and broke my cable steering on Etec 90 HO after around 150 hours 2 years old.
Cost to replace around $200 plus labour.
Would there be any benefit in replacing with a hydraulic system and any idea of the cost.
Please no Etec jokes that it would be cheaper to to replace the motor long term lol
Cheers

There are a few different systems available but if you do it yourself (easy enough if you are handy) you will get out of it for $1000.00 give or take a bit depending on choice of system. Expensive - compared to cable - yep. Worth it - absolutely in my book. If you are in Brisbane, give Graham at Hydrive a call.
