I know that but I need it to be bent / upturn for ensuring the length of the fish is true. The plastic fish rulers r affected by the sun.

Failing Bunnings I'm sure any Industrial supplier would have them. Like Blackwoods
Or RS Components
Or Element 14
Or any local smaller tool suppliers.

You could always make one yourself, with the common fish sizes on it, I marked my bait board with Snapper and Bream sizes on it.

If it's that tight that you need the return on it - best to throw it back. They shrink in the box and the next person to get pinged for it won't be the first or last. Good mate of mine copped a fine for it.

I screwed a good quality folding plastic carpenters style ruler to the rear of my bait station where i measure fish, its a heavy duty type thing and its never even looked like fading or getting affected by UV, been there for 8 years. I agree with Scottar, if it thats close to the mark its not a keeper for me.
