Overnighting around Yellow Patch (Moreton Is).

Been years and years and years since I camped around yellowpatch back and I've never had a boat there. Has anyone overnighted in that area - was hoping to get out sat night with a couple of mates. Even though it's howling SSE/SE - sitting tight on that northern face of Moreton should be pretty comfy I'd imagine. Anyone able to advise on currents, holding etc there?

You will be fine in a swell from the south.

A se swell will wrap around the headlands and roll you around all night

There are heaps of coffee rock areas up in the shallows that are worth a look at night in that area.

On checking today - ESE well predicted at the cape so I'll leave Yellow Patch for another time. Thanks for the reply.
