Red Arc tow pro elite Brake controller

Does anyone use one of these controllers with a Hydrastar hydraulic/electric set up, are they compatible?

Tekonsha p3 worked well for us,maybe a email to redac and or HydraStar will give you your answer.
I would be surprised if the towpro didn't work.

Thanks Tracker, I've since learnt that the first version Tow Pros need a resistor inline to work but the new Tow Pro Elite are fine.

The elite also needs a resistor to work with the Alko iQ7 electric over hydraulic system, according to Redarc. It would pay to check with Redarc re the Hydrastar system.

Sorry off topic but responding to Force3.
I have an IQ7 and asked alko the question, they said the redarc will work ok in 'proportional mode'
Still using a tekonsha P2 in our old tow vehicle but looking a redarc for my ranger

I have used both the original tow pro and elite with hydrastars and they both work great. The P3 Tekonsha was/is smoother than the original tow pro, but the elite I think is smoother and nicer than the P3.
