Following on from another thread, are there any shed builders out there and can they recommend or warn of any products/manufacturers to stay away from. I'm in the process of getting quotes for a 10m x 10m x 4.8m to the gutters kit only
Thanks

GarageWorld built my shed, decent construction, but then tried to hit me with a $250 site cleanup bill after the job. They left all the offcuts strewn around the shed. I'd get hung for that in my business.

I had a 14 x 7 x 3.5 Titan built five years ago. The installers & shed were only just passable, but the Titan owned ARD(Aust. roller doors) have been a painful experience.

Just did a 9/9.5/4.2 gutters with eve's, 2 3m chain drive doors. Went with southern cross for the kit and a local bloke did the build. Ver happy with the southern cross kit quality for what i paid.

I used Totalspan for my kit - one small hassle that was promptly sorted without any real issue. Instructions were good - shed still standing 10 years down the track.

Have had two mates use Titan. One was unceremoniously stitched up big time and copped a pretty average outcome, the other built his own. His instructions were pretty average apparently and they were less than helpful but his shed seems to be ok.

MD, northern side of Toowoomba, I did the deal with southern cross toowoomba office, this being said it seemed to be highly centralised out of their sunny coast centre. Its a pretty typical bolted portal type kit, they used styrups into the slab rather than chemsets on the verticals which was a bit different to some bulk shed designs, 64 top hats straight to the C purlin. Kit+slab (5 inch) with 1m apron+erection, one window, 2 big roller doors, PA door, all walls and roof inslulated total was pretty much $32,500 inc. Since then i epoxied the floor with EB600, acid and paint cost me about $600.

I built a 9 x 6 x 3m Titan last year.

Was happy with the entire process and the installers cleaned up and left no mess at the end.

The concrete contractor Titan organised did an fantastic job too.

Titan have the option of using something called goldstar stud frame which is similar to the framing used in building a house - might make installation easier??

I have now signed a contract on a 10 x 10 and looking for someone to put it up. Anyone on here do that for a crust? I'm a cash buyer[emoji6]

Didn't you ever play with Meccano as a kid. I'm sure if you ask nice they will even throw in a little spanner and an allen key. ;D

I'm better off going to work to pay for it and having it erected in half the time

Just to finalise this thread, the shed has now been completed and to say I'm happy with all parties involved would be an understatement. I had set back after setback with weather affecting concrete pour dates prior to and during the time of cyclone Debbie. Both the supplier and the builder bent over backwards to work around these setbacks for me. I am stoked with the product itself and the workman ship by the builder.
Shed is a fairdinkum shed supplied by Just Sheds at Brendale.
