Anyone seen a better deal than this for a GX2 package? $1795 delivered

Reason I ask is once I add a Sarca no.3 $340 -

And a sarca bow sprit $383 -

(I currently have this style and unsure if sarca will fit plus it doesn't have flared sides where the braid will rub.

And this remote $108 -

And then add wiring loom..

It pushes the allowable budget from the other half a bit far... Anyone recommend anyone for better prices?

Cheers.

Triple, I'd be curious to know how that 6mm rope goes. I had 6mm dyneema on my Stressfree maxi and it was awful. The dyneema would regularly dig into the layers and get jammed. Perhaps the rope you are looking at will maintain its shape and resist biting in, whereas the dyneema flattens out and bites in easily.

I now use 8mm 3 strand nylon rope without issue, except I don't have the capacity I would like.

Oops. Im actually looking at the one that comes with the 90m of 8mm double braid nylon. I will mainly be anchoring in the bay so don't really next the extra capacity and have heard of the same issues you had with the 6mm so will avoid. First Post amended.

G'day
Yep, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Micks-Winch-Electric-Drum-Anchor-Winch-Surpasses-All-The-Others-In-Quality-/131975824323?hash=item1eba5f43c3:g:QfwAAOSw9IpXzaC b

The sarca won't fit that bow roller. I've changed bow rollers a sarca and persevered with it for some years but found it pretty hopeless in south oz, it would rarely hold a spot unless dead calm, until it got horribly stuck. Research showed the Rocna and Manson work much better. Bought a Rocna, 10 times better but still had the problem of getting horribly stuck, dangerous where we fish. Went to a no 6 grapnel, plenty of chain and a micks winch anchor spring ejector (simple but brilliant invention) all good now. Still get a bit stuck now and again but just bend the tangs a bit
I have no experience in the Qld area though so maybe irrelevant to you guys up there :-)

Cheers
