Hi all,

Just thinking about my boat trailer and it's probably been too long to get my bearings etc replaced,

Does anyone on here do wheel bearings, brakes springs etc?

Preference would be someone mobile of around the bay area

Happy to lend a hand and provide beers.

Single axle trailer

Thanks

Blair

Mate look on you tube, so easy to do yourself, then if you ever drop one on the road, you know how to fix yourself. I would come and give you a hand but all my weekends bookedup.

Be careful.

I had mine done by a mobile mechanic and the bearings failed 4 mths later.
At a very inopportune time too, like 1.30am on the way home.
Turns out he didnt use marine seals, he just used holden seals from repco.

All boat trailers need marine seals to keep the water out of the back of the bearing.

Also worth packing the seals with grease to keep water out.
My bearings last a lot longer since I started doing it.
