Which tyre gauges are being used, to check trailer tyres etc.
I have been through 4 of the cheap ones, and I now need to buy yet another one, a better brand than super cheap, but not over the top price wise.
Any recommendations?
David

VDO instruments are usually reliable.

I carry one of these in my Nissan Patrol. I've had it for a few years and it has never let me down

The best ones (if you can find one somewhere) are those old fashioned ones that you put it on the valve, and a little rod kind of thing pops out with measurements on it, about the size of a pen they are, but, if you want one to use to inflate tyres too, the big ugly one with a kind of square window with the pressure on a round wheel sort of thing work very well, I have one that was my fathers, and it still works, all the other cheap rubbish ones are at the dump!

OOps, I have lead you all astray, by missing a word on my post. What I am looking for is a better quality inflation tool, with the gauge.
Not the Super cheap type, but a better type one that will last, at a reasonable price. My apologies.

The best ones you can get are from the servo you just need a sharp knife and a good pair of running shoes.

Yep, the one in the link is the one I was talking about, I have one that is decades old, still works a treat, that's what used to be at servos years ago, you see them at garage sales and places like that, in fact I might even have an old one lying around, I will have a look later on today, and see if I can find it, I am sure it will be somewhere "safe" unless it got lost in my recent move!
