Hi all,
I have a Stessco 5.1m Cuddy and want to put an anchor winch on it. These boats don't come built ready to be fitted so I was thinking of mounting it up front just in front of the hatch so I can still open the hatch.
My plan was to get someone to strengthen the area with bracing and using alloy plate to mount the Bell Mirco Viper 2 winch. The winch is light (14kg), as long as the bracing is done correctly, I can't see any issues.
what are people's thoughts or suggestions?
