Fishing in Borneo

Has anyone fished Borneo.
I'm heading to a few locations and an island.
I'll put up locations when I get home.
If anyone one has any info let me know.

Mate my mums side in Malaysian and we used to go to Malaysia every year for 2 months during school holidays. We had an uncle we a 50ft Flybridge and I remember it being moored in KOta Kinabalu. We used to cruise from the river out for a few hours to the Islands and stay for days fishing around an Island, 20 years ago so don't remember the names. Funny enough this uncle was loaded and had all the latest gear, the locals in wooden boats always had more fish than us!

Sorry can't help much but brings back fond memories
