Looking at a new 2400 Noosa Cat or Kevlar Cat and considering an Aluminium trailer.
My experience with Aluminium boats after a few years of use the welds all start to crack.
Can anyone that owns one with a largish boat on it please advise if there are any issues.
Im expecting to purchase it with the boat from the boat manufacturers.
Thanks in advance. :)
John

Plenty of well made Aluminium trailers on the road with no issues, just like there is plenty of well made boats without cracks, that said, there is plenty of cheap boats and trailers with issues!

I have a 98 Kevlacat ally trailer without a crack in it. Wouldn't be worried getting another, in fact I wouldn't own a steel trailer frame ever again.

What sort of ally boats have you had 😳
Probably best to steer clear of their trailers!
There are tens of thousands of ally trailers here and in US with no inherent problems.
