has anyone fished Bulimba creek up near carindale westfield? have the filthy tilapia made there way into the creek??

Some of us old farts who grew up in Carina will tell you that back in the 60's we caught plenty of eels and eeltail catfish in that creek. Just upstream from the bridge. I ate plenty of them - didn't know at the time how much arsenic and other bad stuff went in there from the wool tanning plant.

Had a look today near the bridge on the southern side of westfield near the walking track,caught a couple of turtles and seen heaps of poddy mullett, cananyone point me in the direction to catch some Tilapia? I know there pest just wanna kill some
