Wild and windy Moreton Bay

Yep, now just on THREE WEEKS with non stop winds on the Bay in the vicinity of 20 knots!

Trouble is they have been blowing 24/7 and the Bay never gets a chance to settle down.

Rough as guts out there!

I live on the Bayside and this would be the most consistently bad boating weather I have seen for a long time!

I'm thinking of fishing southern peel tomorrow watching the wind like a hawk hoping today is not to bad and tomorrow morning it should be ok

I had cleared all weekends in February so I could do a three day trip to 1770.
Hence the wind.

well the king tide and moon is over now so it should be steady again from this week

I'll try to get out tomorrow morning to fish around Macleay, but it's as much just to get out in the boat as anything, the fish will be a bonus.
The wind forecast has changed that many times in the last week I've decided I'm going anyway :)

Northern bay was beautiful this morning until about 10am, spent most of the morning looking at the bay at work.

And it's not likely to calm down until Thursday week as that's when I go back to work...... Guarantee it'll be a beautiful 2 weeks after that though (while I'm away), so just hang in there .
