Hi All

I have a Johnson 115 hp Ocean Runner that I would like to get looked at. Think Downes Marine at Albion pretty much cover Johnson however wondering if there was someone on Southside of Brisbane. Discovered this issue on the cav plate on the motor. Checked hoses etc but cannot identify why this happening.

That's two stroke oil leaking out the carbies when tilted. Tune up on the float and needles needed.

RIP I think they leak by design even if the carbies are all good, airbox gasket & check the rubber hose that's supposed to suck that fuel/oil back into the crankcase. A new gasket fixed mine.

Thanks Rip It Up

It was happening even with the leg down (for days). I have done some further research so thanks for the tips.

Very common, don't panic, can be normal, can be a slight oil hose leak.

Thanks Noelm. Brought it back on a 600km road trip recently so something may have worked loose...initial check didn't reveal anything but some spots cant really get too without taking whole lower faring off.
