mercruiser 4.3 MPI overheating maybe???

Hi Guys
The temp gauge on normal running usually sits at a 1/4, Last two trips it has been getting up to half and the oil pressure gauge is also slightly higher as well on the last two trips.
The boat is a sea legend, nothing different has happened for thid to change.
Any ideas?

been very weedy out there recent check for weed or debris wrapped around your lower unit otherwise your water pump starting to go off or clogged exhaust castings. check your thermostat is working correct and take your prop n check... most all the common thing in over heating i guess
