Honda 130HP 2003 model Fuel injected or Carby?

Was wondering whether a 2003 model 130HP Honda would be Electronic Fuel Injected or just a Carby model? thanks Oldie

all 115hp engines and higher HP are EFI engines

Internet says that both 2.2lt Honda engines ( 115/130) were fuel injected. Hope that helps.

cheers fellas, i figured as much but knew they had a couple carby models in the HP range under, and also a few yamaha i think were carby around the early 2000s

Anything to watch out for on that year model Garry? its done very little hours and single owner

I'm pretty sure Honda were the first with EFI 4stroke........could be wrong....At one time the Honda 130 was the biggest HP available in a 4stroke outboard............They are fairly heavy for their given HP nowadays.

Yeh there is, PM me the serial # and I will see if its got the updated block and fuel pump which came out in 2002
