Ash, spoke to a bloke at the ramp last weekend who had one on a 3.5m ally and he was fine with it although he said on a larger boat he would have gone for one of the other brands only for peace of mind. He had the foot control model, apart from that no personal experience in them. He said he'd had it for over 6 months now.

Only issue was the battery going flat in the remote at this stage. Have now had it 10 months.

apparently they are bringing out a model with "spot lock" for under $1000.
