Still amazed at the misinformation re the use of the E10 grade , a number of the concerns I believe relate prior to government agencies regularly and unannounced checking of service service stations product. It had been known to have a higher rate of ethanol previously when not tested.
If I had an older old boat with fuel lines and fuel tank incompatible with E10 then certainly would not use but all modern lines and tanks plus motors are most certainly compatible via legislation and in fact modern motors actually recommended as suitable for use.
Also check with you local supplier if the "regular" ULP you are currently using contains up to 1% already of ethanol, you maybe surprised by the answer.
As with all gasoline's keep your tank full when not in use and ensure the the fill point bung is tight.
Remembering the "10%" in E10 is the maximum allowable and in some instances is regularly lower.
Just my thoughts and experiences without the emotion and "my mate said".
