this happened not far from where i live. still under investigation, man and a woman sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, faces and heads banged up.
they hit "a wooden structure and a metal light post" near shore.
not many details but i figure it was at night, going way too fast, a little alchohol maybe.
lucky they weren't killed i suppose.

this incident has not been widely broadcast locally, and the details are scarce. usually this type of thing is all over the front pages and headline t.v.
i wonder what is different about this case...

Seneca County Sheriff's Deputies were assisted on scene by New York State Police and Park Police
