Advise needed. Have a dual battery set-up in the boat with a 4 position switch Bat1, Bat2, Both and Off.
Thought I would remove the batteries and test today. Pulled 1 battery totally out and tested only 4.7v so put on the charger to see if it comes back. Fair enough the battery is about 3 years old and kind of expected it. Tested the other battery all good. But the funny thing is the boat still gets power whether the switch is on Bat 1 or Bat2 even though 1 is totally disconnected but no power when on both. Can only assume wired incorrectly????
Always tried to alternate between batteries when heading wide so both got a good charge. Guessing switch is wired incorrectly? Thoughts anyone.
