Beach on the weekend for me. Been getting some in the bay on trolled hardbodys aswell. Ben

Few around my local area .. Live mullet unweighted top of the tide around the eddys off my local rock walls .. Wait until the Dolphins start belting into the mullet than cast the mullet as high in the air as u can as the slap on the water creates a lot of interest and also makes the mullet swim wild & erratic..

Caught small Jew off beach last night chasing greenbacks . I have been told this has been the best Jew season so far down iluka area soo I'm heading there for Evans head classic shortly ;)

just got back wayno...should be heaps on the goldy with the tailor ....high tide 530pm ...the bream started biting about 5 ....then the tailor were smashing my mullet i got two nice ones around the 50cm mark ...was reriging after each one chewed up leader or hooks gone if i had gangs and pillies i would have cleaned up....1m jewie to the boat about 630pm ...ever had to land one with the anchor rope ? well i have now lol ...

One thing led to another and i wasnt able to get out , I had to get the ol girl to the hospital and i was there till 11pm so that shut down that idea... Thur night i went for a walk down the end of the street and put out two baits , one, a whole tailor and the other was 2in slab of tailor... plenty of crabs around but the only bit excitment was the whole bait get taken for a run, then dropped, run again, dropped, them picked to death...and tonight im here at work till 6am saturday.

Life is so unfair sometimes.

One thing led to another and i wasnt able to get out , I had to get the ol girl to the hospital and i was there till 11pm so that shut down that idea... Years ago , where i fishing the other night i have caught baby Hammerhead but in the seaway the most bycatch is shovelnose and big rays...around the mouth up against the Nth wall ive seen pic of jew and jacks chomped by the tax man..

hhaaha blooey ...sent pics of jew to the local bait shop and they ended up in the paper ....told the guy i caught them at dunethin rock about 10ks up river about 10ks away from were i caught them lol ....come in to the ramp friday night and this guy asks about the jew i had and where i got it told him same....goes on to tell me that two guys just went out have been getting 3/4 a night at dunethin rock all big ones .....hahhhaaa wtf :P shhhhh they arnt at dunithin rock :D
I know 10 or so serious jew fishers around here and if i see them i let them know and they do the same ...have noticed though there are about 5 father and son teams here that target them ...everyone else can find them if they look hard enough ...

How inconsiderate is that wife of yours..........cant she plan it any better?

my boat is down for maintenance, but should be ready friday or sat. I wanna try jumpinpin if the weather is right and the wind is down.

I hope the house is working out ok? Ive been really busy selling houses, but hanging for a fish. I dont mind the cold.

Half your bloody luck astro. Nobody tells me where they are catching jewies. It's entirely up to me to find them in different locals and this generally takes some serious time on or next to the water. Fine by me though as it makes the big boys all that much sweeter. Ben
