Hey guys got a new 135 4stroke fitted to my 5.2 Viking with a 17inch vengence prop and it cavs at speed with any trim at all and also cavs when turning should I step up a size in the prop?

best bet is to get the setup right before you start messing round with props, get it back to the dealer and tell them to call you when its right.

Id expect it to come back with a 19 pitch prop. Cavitation is not related to pitch in this case though. Does the boat have a pod?

You sure it's not ventilating?

Could be that the motor is mounted too high up. Check your cav/ventilation plate which should be in line with the bottom of your boat. Went out today down the Pin and getting use to my 150. Plenty of acceleration from standing start but not quite has quick as the 2 stroke in roll on acceleration but I can live with it.
