Well after yesterdays down pour im guessing the Nerang river and broadwater will be out of commission for a few days. On the way to work this arvo i went across Weedons crossing(Nerang) and the amount of mud washing down the river it may take a week to clear...Thats would be right, just as im starting three days off...

My backyard yesterday afternoon at Caboolture
Spent all day today putting the temp fence up to keep the dogs in til I get it sorted.
This is the highest I have ever seen it in the last 15 years.
Took the misses 5 1/2 hours to get home from Tingalpa.......

Its been a terrible year for fishing, just as the bribie passage clears up we get another flush out, this will take a month to clear up the passage.
We drove past boondal railway station yesterday, the car park had over a metre of water go through it and there must have been 30 cars there that had been flooded, even gympie road near zupps at Aspley looked like a creek bed..

I thought of that. Was over 2 meters deep down the back.
Would've been a great photo.

I saw a video yesterday of a shipping container floating out of the back carpark of zupps and heading down the creek.

Does anybody know how DeepWater Bend-Wyampa Rd Bald Hills faired after the torrent of rain? Some are saying drainage has turned to shit since the construction of the Moreton Bay Rail Link?
