A few people asked me to post pics when I did my extra full tank install, so here they are.
I got a custom fuel tank made for an area in the cabin for which I rarely used. This is to replace the 5 jerries I normally carry for my 1770 trips.

Mounting it here posed some challenges. Like how to run the fuel line and breather. My Yalta has a wet box in front of the cabin. This made running the fuel line easier. I just had to drill into the wet box from inside the cabin. Then from the wet box into the cavity where the primary fuel tank is. This was a tricky job and I had to use a drill with a right angled chuck.

After these holes were drilled I could then run the fule hose from the bow to the stern above the primary fuel tank. The stern end of the fuel line then goes onto a valve then into the secondary inlet on my fuel filter. The primary also gets a valve.

The breather goes up into the bunk storage areas, up through the bunk and out the side of the boat. The breather I choose has a water water catchment system so no water is fed back into the tank.

Hopefully over Easter I'll get to give it a run. It'll be so good having my deck clear of jerries and eskies leaving it all dedicated to fishing.
