Petrol Engine Caboolture River Fresh Section

Curious to a few regs on using a 4stroke 2hp or 4hp outboard on a canoe in the Caboolture river fresh section. My boss owns property on the river and wants to mount a petrol outboard to his canoe. Council have been rung and a "we don't have a clue" response was offered. If anyone has any info regarding these rules please share a link to where you may have read this.

No issues. There is no regulations covering the section of river, SEQ Water only own the weir wall.

I have seen the odd petrol motor on there. Saw a twin hull sailing cat with a 6hp mounted there last time we released fish at the Wararba ck weir.
