Just wondering if anyone has tried the largest version with 115 lbs of thrust? I'm just trying to get some Info on the largest boat an electric can handle to gps spot lock allowing for up to 10knts of wind and a moderate current. Specifically I would like to fit it to a 24ft cat to use the spot lock function but I strongly have my doubts that it will be powerful enough. Any thoughts or do I can the idea straight away?

You can always use more than motor with a spotlock on one motor to do the fine work. Just set the second motor so that it is not quite holding and let the spot lock do the rest.
