I use 2 Gal D links to hold down the rear of our 1/2 cabin via tiedowns to the trailer when travelling. The D links along with the trailer go for a swim when I take off the boat etc.

A Local Auto store has 316 Stainless Steel D Links 800Kg, for sale at $4.50 each. Over time the Gal D links freeze up. This wont happen to the same extent with the SS D Links.

Question is if I use the SS D links will that increase electrolysis on my Gal Trailer?

Thanks

Peter

I dont think it would be any thing to worry about any time I replace a screw or bolt on my trailer I use stainless.
