Just wandering if there is a common place to catch Livies in moreton bay. Guess the 4 beacons but anywhere else..

Heaps of whiting and squid options as well as pike Almako

Squid off the inside of Moreton. Just look for the weed beds. Whiting also off Moreton but a good area is off the southern end out on the sand banks just a few hundred meters out and sometimes Pike can be in numbers off Tangalooma Jetty but they seem to come and go. Good method to use is small soft plastics cast and retrieved at speed.

Livies up around Western rocks and inside Comby point

Often there is bait where you leave from....

Munch up some old bread, soaked in tuna oil and toss around a jetty or pontoon while your mate cast nets... Usually will give you enough herring and other species that are legally kept for bait.. At night will probably get a few live prawns too.
